Re: cruise help

It all depends on where you are going. We've cruiser out of NY in July, April & November. November is the only time we had bar weather.

In terms if the ship, you want to stay as far in the middle of the ship as possible & as high up as possible. I recommend staying in at least an outside cabin but balcony are truly the best. Gives more room for you to enjoy & the opportunity for fresh air if needed. Inside cabins are too inclosing for ne.

Re: cruise help

We just cruised and since we need adjoining rooms we we on a lower level then usual. We were on the bottom floor. We only had porthole windows but you felt much less movement being lower down then in my sister and parents cabins up on the 8th floor.

Need more details on what your interested in bc there are a million and one cruises out there lol

When to go is simply a preference really... If you want to stay away from loads of kids, dont cruise in the summer... If you want to escape the cold, cruise in the winter... Personally, I always like cruising in May... Its still too early for the kid issue, but it paves the way for a nice transition into the summer... Beginning/mid dec is also a great time IMO... Prices are VERY low and barely any kids

From a seasickness perspective, you will feel the least amount of movement on a lower deck and in the middle of the ship... greatest movement is on the top and ends of the ship... I have stayed high and at the very back in a balcony (which was amazing to watch the wake btw), but you will def be rocked to sleep! LOL

If you are prone to sea sickness, bonine will become your best friend... You take 1 every morn of the cruise starting on the day you will be sailing, and you will be fine!

Any other questions, ask away... I am queen of the cruises... Going on 1 this upcoming week actually Chat Icon
