Re: Crown Molding Help

My father in law just installed Crown moulding in our dining room.....And he said it was a nightmare.

Are you doing it yourself or did you hire someone to do it?

My father in law got all of his information from this site - there are step by step guides here - Scroll down

Re: Crown Molding Help

I'm not familiar with putting up crown molding but FH installed it in his mothers apartment - I could ask him...I do remember him having a difficult time cutting thecorrect angles - the guy at the hardware store recommended he get a few extra pieces bc he WOULD make a mistakeChat Icon ...but once he got the first couple of ones the rest went up easy...

Re: Crown Molding Help

when installing crown always cut it upside down and backwards my dh said also when you have to splice the two straight peices togethor that are longer than what you have cut them on a 31.8 degree angle it should be set on your saw already
