cross posted-Nashville question!
I figured maybe this would get more action here..
We are going on Thursday for 5 days. We will be mostly be doing bars/live music and concerts (seeing Little Big Town at Ryman). We booked two hotels because we couldnt decide where to stay based on location. Do u think it matters if the hotel is like a 15 min Uber ride to the action? Thats the nicer hotel. The other one is closer to the action but still like a 5 min Uber ride but not as nice.
Do u mostly stay out all day/night or do u think we will go back and forth a lot?
Its hard to decide as we've never been and not familiar with the area.
Thanks!

I love Nashville!!! I would totally stay downtown. If you're a 5 min uber away then that is walking distance . But I 'm the type that wants to be in the middle of the action and I am a honkey tonk all day & night type of girl! I guess it depends what you are in to. For me, except for a couiple of sightseeing activities, I never had any reason to leave lower broadway! We really only went back to hotel to get ready for dinner and the honkey tonks at night. Enjoy the Ryman, it is an experience and Little Big Town is fabulous! There is so much to do there that you can easily be out all day. I'm sure you are planning on it, but definitely go to the Country Hall of Fame Museum. Have so much fun! Check out the Opryland Gaylord Hotel too, it's incredible!!! I would never stay there because it is near nothing, but it's like nothing I have ever seen.

We stayed downtown and then took cabs to the Grand Old Opry and the Bluebird Cafe. It was great being able to walk to so much.

It's one of my favorite cities, was supposed to go this past fall , but it fell through. I'm dying to go back. As another poster mentioned, go to the Bluebird Cafe for a show. I think they take reservations starting a week out from the date if I remember correctly. But if you can't get res, you can go wait online before doors open. We did that and were able to get in. We had to wait online and hour and a half, but it was totally worth it!!
