Crock Pot Smell
I recently purchased this crock pot from BBB and decided to use it for the first time today. I noticed a strange smell coming from the pot (burning plastic??) so I called the manufacturer and was assured that this is normal the and usually goes away after the first use, but I have never heard of this. I was told that it is coming from the outside of the pot and my food will not be affected at all. Has anyone else experienced this when using their crock pot? If so, how long did it last? Re: Crock Pot Smell
Glad to hear I am not alone! I am still a little nervous about how it will taste.
