Crib to bed transition

How was everyone's transition for their LO's from crib to bed?

I have no clue why "I'm" terrified of this. I have visions of him getting out of bed at 6am running around or me putting him to bed at night only to watch him on the monitor pulling out his books & toys.

I swear, DS handles transitions better than me.Chat Icon

Re: Crib to bed transition

I asked the question back in March with no results - trying again because....Chat Icon I still haven't done it.

What's recently sparked my push into doing it is the other day DS asked me to play horsey on his crib - when I questioned it he proceeded to swing his leg over the top & giddy-up.Chat Icon

Not to mention he's also asking to snuggle in bed & that's a bonus!Chat Icon

Re: Crib to bed transition

I was terrified of transitioning DD, but she started escaping. We'll need her crib for #2 soon.

{{knocks on wood}} We had no issues. None. We changed the decor of her room to things she loved, and she doesn't even go into her old nursery after the first day. She STTN from the first night in there, and naps well too.

Whew!

Thank you! That is so good to hear. I pray it's a smooth transition for us too!
