Crib sleepers?
My DD sleeps in her crib (since 8 wks old) and the transition was no problem. We put her down awake (but drowsy) and she falls asleep within 10-15 mins on her own (i put the mobile on and she gets mesmerized). Anyhoo, I keep reading on here how parents go back in and shush, CIO, etc. My question is.....for those who put their kids in the crib early on as they got older did it eventually become a problem putting them to sleep? or did they just continue on the great path? TIA

Re: Crib sleepers?
Yes, there are parents who did everything you did and still face night wakings. They can start because of teething or increased mobility or sociability... (or because there is a full moon for all we know lol)
There is no magic approach that works for all babies if applied consistently by parents. If your baby continues to go to sleep so easily and stay asleep, consider yourself lucky. It happens, but not for everyone *sigh*.
Natural good sleepers are born, not made.

Re: Crib sleepers?
In our situation, we put Ryan in his crib from the first night home and he has never given me a problem with sleeping. HE falls asleep within 5 minutes. I am sure once teething starts, it might not go so smoothly anymore.
