Crib Shopping

My parents are buying us our crib. We already have dressers we just need a white crib to match. I don't think my mother understands the ordering process no matter how many ways I explain it to her. Is there anywhere you know of where they have the cribs in stock and also a showroom? I know almost all places you have to order online or in a catalog. We're going to try the following places:

Babies R Us (even though they didn't have too much white)
Sears
JCPenney
Buy Buy Baby
Baby Depot (Burlington Coat Factory)

My mother also doesn't want to spend more than $300. I don't mean to be ungrateful but this is getting a little stressful for me. I have 18 weeks left until my due date, I wanted the crib HERE and setup by the end of the year. Any help or experience would definately be appreciated! Thank you!!

Most places will tell you 6-8 wks. I would focus on BRU or BBB. You can use a 20% off coupon at BBB for it too.

Okay, $300 is fine for the crib...and not to be crazy, but if you really like one that is more, wouldn't you just kick in the extra $$$?? I would be really happy if I had $300 toward the crib!!!

BRU-If you go to the store, they have two really nice white carter's cribs. pics below..one is under $300, and the other is $359.

If it has a sticker on the item that says "Get it now"-you can take the crib home with you that day. if it says "Get it fast" it can take only 7-10 days.

We bought ours from Walmart.com and spent $159 for a drop side 4-1 crib....Baby Bargins liked the Graco brands and that's what we got. They have many white cribs

we ordered our from pottery barn. the one we got is on sale now for $399 and it came SUPER quick!

we ordered on 8/28 and it came on 9/1!

BRU is having a 10% off sale.. + we opened the credit card and got another 10% off!! Def go there soon!! Our cirb was in stock and ready to be taken home. He said even if they had to order it, as long as it wasn't special order it would come in by the end of the week.

I'm sure you can find a nice crib at BBB & BRU.

I would also suggest walking around Behrs too. I told them the price range I wanted & they walked me around and showed me my options.

I wanted to keep to a budget, I got a a crib for $369 & bureau/changing table for $500.

It was babys dream which is top rated by baby bargains.

There is nice furniture out there at a decent price. You'll find something!

we purchased this crib this weekend after being told the one we registered for was discontinued.

they had it in stock, so we were able to bring it home.

and, it's got pretty good reviews so I am very satisfied with the purchase and the price.
