We used Breathable ones. To us, it seemed like the safest option. Regular bumpers are a big no-no ecause of the risk of SIDS. And no bumpers would have increased the chance of them getting a limb stuck in between the slats.

Right now none but DD doesn't move around in her crib right now. If the time comes where I need bumpers I will use the breathable.

As an infant, I didnt use any.
Then I added breathable ones to keep in the pacifiers but now at 17 months Im back to not using any again. I just hate changing the sheets with a bumper.

I use regular. My DD for some strange reason only likes to sleep around the perimeter of her crib lol. She will never just lay in the middle. She would knock herself out multiple times a night if I didn't use them.

Regular since day 1. No issues except changing the crib sheet is a total PITA!! DD likes to sleep with her head against the side of the crib so I am glad I have them.

Regular until she could really roll then breathable.
no concerns at all
But I had the Angel Care baby monitor with the tick for breathing. If she got too far up or down it would set off an alarm so the bumpers were the least of our concerns.
I prefered the breathable mostly so i could see her LOL

breathable.
honestly... i did an unscientific informal test of what the air circulation might be like with regular bumpers on. and i had trouble breathing.
that was enough for me to be sure of my decision.

DD is 3 months old and so far I'm not using anything. I do have breathable bumpers for use in the future. I was not comfortable with the idea of using regular ones even though there are some really beautiful choices.

Thank you everyone! I have breathable bumpers but my hubby and mil were concerned its not enough cushioning. They started to make me question putting them on.
