Creepy.... does you MIL do this?
my MIL just learned how to use the internet and is always sending those annoying chain letter type emails with cute picstures of puppes and kitties and kids and so forth...
but she also sends me dirty ones!!!!
it creeps me out a bit. i dont need my 60something yr old mil sending me dirty cartoons and real photos!~~
does your mil do this?

ugh, that is creepy
my mil passes on those annoying ones about health or safety stuff that snopes has proved wrong ages ago. but getting her to understand how to look at snopes is an exercise in futility.

My boss does this. For a guy who makes 3 times the amount of money as I do, you'd think the concept of "snopes" would not be that hard to grasp

I cant stand it. i never read them.
well, except for the ones that spread untrue rumors....in that case, i hit REPLY ALL with the snopes.com truth in bold letters right at the top.
She once told me, "you must not love me - you didn't send back the 'my favorite online friends' email!!!"

My FIL sometimes sends my DH dirty jokes, etc. It grosses me out completely. What do you think of this? My MIL would give my DH his fathers used Playboys. I thought that was really lacking boundaries.

My MIL doesn't, but my MOM does!
DH works with computers and we've told her many times not to forward us chain mail. Thankfully, she obliges and we don't get a lot of junk mail from her.
