crashing with another Dr. A question
I switched to dr. A this past year after having my dd with another obgyn. I love him and think he is great. He did my laporoscopy the last week of june because I was having bad pelvic pain. Turns out that everything looked ok down there other than a few cysts and some small fibroids. He thinks I have adenomyosis and the only cure is hysterectomy. So we decided to ttc #2 and then I will have a hysterectomy. Anyway my old ob woild do a sono at every apt and if I was ever having an issue I could come in for a quick sono to make sure all is alright. So now I am in my 2ww and having crazy pelvic pain so I have an apt with him tmrw. But I want to know how it works in situations like this. Will he give you a sono or does that woman do it? And I think I was told they only do sonos on certain days. What if I need a sono on a different day. Anyway if you could please tell me how the sonos work there and what happens if you are having pain or an issue? TIA

I never had a sono in his office. I switched to him at 20 weeks so all my sonos were done at Madonna. I was high risk so I was at Madonna weekly.
Yes the sono tech is in only certain hours.

He's done sonos for me when I had a problem and that crazy lady wasn't there. There is another room with a machine.

Re: crashing with another Dr. A question
i switched to him at around 16-17 weeks (before that was when most of my sonos were done at my previous doctor) so not positive but the one time, that i was feeling a lot of pressure and i was still in my 2nde tri, they did a sono in the office there with the sono tech lady (who is a bit rough around the edges but not mean or anything). But other than that, I havent had a sono (sometimes this has to do with insurance though). Im not sure but I would think that if she wasnt there, he would just do it himself. I could be wrong of course, but he doesnt seem like the type to say to wait until the sono tech comes in.
