cramps after transfer?

Hey. Did anyone have cramps the day of transfer? I have had the very mild crampy feeling a bit during the day. I just had a HUGE cramp that lasted five minutes or so. DH said he has never seen my cry during a cramp before (AF flow cramps are horrendous for me, but he is used to me enduring cramping without tears). I think the tears came bc this time cramps could be bad sign.

Just wondering if anyone had something like this happen to them. I feel better now, but it was not a fun five minutes. And I can only take tylenol....

Update- I had a second horrible, five minute cramping episode at 5:00am. I called on call nurse later in morning. She says it should stop and not to worry bc I have no fever, chills, or bleeding. Hopefully there will be no more episodes like that.

i don't remember cramps on day of transfer, i had more pain on retrieval day,
so i don't have advice except if it persists call your doctor

I had a LOT of cramping the day of my transfer and every day after that, and that's when I got my BFP!!! I think mine was the embies (embies?) implanting in the uterine lining & they produce an enzyme later that allows them to burrow in deeper. I've had cramping every day since (it's called growing pains) and I'm 5w3d today! Wishing you luck and lots of sticky dust!!!

i havent been through the IVF process yet, but i have read that a ton of girls on here have had cramps after transfers and even had cramping after implantation (for non IVF girls)

i am praying that you're not in any more pain! but this could be a good sign!

I had them after retrieval. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. The pain was so bad that I had to leave a restaurant.
