Cramping?
So I woke up in the middle of the night with bad AF-like cramps under my belly and lower back pains. It hurt pretty bad for a while. Any idea what this is? Is that Braxton Hicks?

Yup, me too. When I told my doctor that I've been getting period-like cramps, she said this is normal and that when it happens I should drink water and lie down. I didn't think to mention at the time that it often happens in the middle of the night, when I'm already lying down. The only thing I can think of is that maybe we get a little dehydrated in the middle of the night and that causes the cramping to occur.

If this is dehydration, then we have problems, becaus eI drink near 110 ounces of water a day.
And I get these cramps constantly. I keep mistaking them for intestinal cramps, but nothing is happening there.
Miserable.

I asked my doctor about these and he said its my body practising for the real thing. He did tell me drink water and lay down as well and that this might make it feel a little better but he said its perfectly normal.

I know, I drink tons of water too. I'm just having some really bad cramps right now actually. Ugh!

I have bad AF cramps everyday. It started about a week ago. I spoke to my doctor about it and he said its normal, just the body preparing for labor. I cant stand it!!
