Counting Down till Ovulation.
Am I the only one who is on here counting down till ovulation? Is that bad? Obsessed? Maybe a little too much?
What are your thoughts and how do you handle waiting for your ovulation?

Counting Down till Ovulation.
IMO that doesn't even compare to the 2ww after Ovulation.
Just start BDing every other day!

I was the same way when I was TTC #1! This time with #2 we wanted to start trying in July so I was beyond ANXIOUS for AF to come so I can start getting ready for O date. Then I was late and getting sooo annoyed that I had to wait even longer. After 2 days I decided to test even though I was 97% sure I couldn't be pregnant. But alas, BFP! lol. So I didn't go through all that waiting to O, 2WW this time around, but I totally & completely understand! If I had begun in July I'd be the same way 
ETA: To answer, the only way I handled it was by trying to keep myself busy & distracted. The more I thought about it, the longer it took. And it can feel like FOREVER!!!

oh man, I should add that as slow as waiting for O & that BFP is, just wait until you're waiting for that first appt at 6-10wks. THAT is a longggg wait, esp while anxiously hoping everything is going the way it should be in there

This is so true! I've only known that I'm pregnant for 5 days and I have 16 days til my first appt/sono. The time is c r a w l i n g. This is definitely worse than waiting to O or during the 2ww.

For me waiting to o is worse than 2ww! I usually don't get a positive opk until cd20 or later so it's a 3ww (or longer) for o! Cd15 today and still waiting...

Oh gosh, especially if you start stupidly analyzing everything (which I am sooo guilty of). "Are pregnancy symptoms still there?" "Should I workout or will that be bad right now?" "Is the baby ok? What will the first sono be like?" blah, blah, blah. I just got my BFP on Friday (I think you & I got it the same day) and it feels like it's been weeeeeks rather than days. lol. With DD#1 the entire first trimester was just stressful for me. I really did not enjoy it until I finally got past 12 weeks.

Me too!! I didn't want to say that for fear of it sounding slightly psychotic, but yeah. lol. I obsessively check TP too because I had bad experiences before DD#1 and it basically scars a person. That makes it all the more worse and definitely prolongs the draggggggiiiinnnnngggg weeks. But all will be well! Gotta keep positive - and that's so exciting for you! YAY! I hope this time goes quick for the both of us, and we're seeng/hearing our little ones before we know it
