could this be my mucous plug? TMI
Sorry for the tmi post but I was just walking around the house and felt a little bit of a gush. I went to the bathroom and there was a lot of discharge brownish in color on the paper and in my panties. It was watery but not really like mucous? What is this?
I'm 38w2d.

It could be it!!! I had that the night I went into labor - I didn't have any spotting my whole pregnancy so I knew something was up. I was 38w 3d when I went into labor. I starting having contractions a few hours (3-4) later. So you could have something happening soon.

I never lost my plug, but my friend told me that it literally looks like a huge snot in your undies and stringy

 what I described sounds like what you had? Yikes! I always expected it to be more snot-like so that's why I'm not sure!

I think I lost my muscus plug earlier in small bits (it was clear) - but what I had sounds like what you are describing.
Etd to add a lot of people don't realize they lost their plug.
