Could I be pregnant? UPDATE with question

I have no idea what is going on. I am currently on CD 40, and I have never gone past CD30. Starting around CD28 ive been getting cramps like i usually get before AF. Starting when I thought I was late (bc i am not using opk's) i've been taking dollar store tests and they are always conclusively negative, there was no question in my mind. I havent tested in a few days.

Yesterday morning i woke up with an intense migraine that i typically get with hormone surges (ovulation and AF). I figured i would get AF, but I never did. So this morning i tested again with FMU and never watched the results come up - it looked like one line so I just walked away before it finished. Later on DH went to the bathroom and called me in bc HE saw a faint line. I was freaking out. He went out to get an EPT and i took that with the tiny bit of pee i had left in my bladder (probably diluted) and it said Not Pregnant.

I don't have any symptoms like sore breasts, and I only get cramps on and off very rarely. I don't think Im pregnant, but why is my cycle so much longer than its ever been? and if I am over a week late and AM pg why is this the first time anything showed on a test? I don't know, Im so sorry this is so long.....what do you think?

Thanks for all your help. I took another one just after i wrote my post and there was no trace of a second line (it was an "Answer" brand test). So i feel like its safe to say that im not pg.

I am really frustrated that i haven't seen AF. I went off bc about 2 months ago and I dont really know if that is affecting me when it comes to my cycles.

Does bc change your cycles? I was only on it for 6 months. My 1st month off it my cycle was 28 or 29 days so I just figured I would have no trouble. Do you think I should I see a dr?

You still could be PG. I would wait a few days and if AF doesn't show test with a digital and use FMU.

The line your DH saw could have been an evap line.

def you a digital! ive been testing with 1st reponse and wasnt sure if it was a evap line and it was killing me not to know so i ran out today and bought a digital and sure enough it was a BFP. BEST OF LUCK!!!!

Birth control can def. still be effecting your cycle. I'm off 8 months and I'm still not regulated.

If it will make you feel better I don't see anything wrong with going to the Dr. to see what's up.

birth control can drastically change your body...it can mess with when or IF you ovulate...there are a lot of hormones involved...

it can't hurt to reach out to the doctor - see if you can leave a message for he/she to call you back and discuss it....if they feel it's necessary - they can bring you in...
