Costco or Bj's
My parents have both. They like Costco better. So they didn't renew the BJ's membership. BJ's is really close to me. And I think I might like it better. We got a thing in the mail to save 10.00 off.

BJ's is easier for us to get to, so we go there most often, but we have both. They have different items that we like. We like the fish better at costco, for example.

We use Costco because it's the closest to where we live. But my mom uses BJs and loves it.

We go to bj's because it is right around the corner from our house. My parents go to both and like costco better.

I like BJ's...though I can't compare it to Costco because I've never been there. My Cousin has a Costco membership and loves to go to BJ's with me...
I guess the each have different things.

to me they are pretty much the same.. my parents have Costco for years because it is closer to them, I liked it.
Now I have my own house, BJ's is closer to me.. so I got a membership there.
BJ's is less crowded IMO

We used to have Costco, but switched to BJs this year. We are quite happy. I really like the BJs by us, it is new and has a good selection. If we need anything from Costco - my inlaws have a membership. There were a few things that we loved from there, but now they no longer carry it.

so glad you asked this question! our BJ's is up for renewal, but since we moved close to Farmingdale, where a costco is close by as well - we were wondering if we should switch..
So far we're still BJ's, no problems with them though.

We go to BJ's because it is closer. However I like Costco better. The only thing that stinks (at least it was like this the last time I was there) is that you have to use a debit card or Costco credit card. They won't let you use a Citibank, Capital One, etc. card.

Costco (still call it Price Club) is so much better but like a lot of other people we go to BJ's because it's so much closer. Plus BJ's has cheap gas too!!!

I like BJ's better for a few reasons...
1. It used to be closer to us.
2. Manufacturer's coupons are accepted.
3. When I made the decision to join Costco didn't take credit cards and BJ's you could use whatever credit card you wanted.
4. Lines are much shorter.
Now that I moved though Costco is closer and seems to have a greater selection.

Costco has better prepared foods, a bigger selection and great furniture and rugs. BJ's takes coupons, is accomodating and has the basics.

I like BJ's if I need something quick. I use Costco if I need larger quantities or if I'm looking for a bigger selection.
