Cooking Oil Disposal?

Does anyone living in Brookhaven know the correct way to dispose of used cooking oil? We long ago stopped frying foods for the most part. Recently, my husband decided to use the deep fryer. I now have a full container of used cooking oil that I have to dispose of, and have no clue what to do with it. I am pretty sure I am not supposed to just put it in the trash. I looked on the town waste disposal page and did not see it.

Cooking Oil Disposal?

I freeze it in a container and then throw it out when it's full. Not sure if that is right, but that's what my parents always did.

I do the same. I don't think you have to do anything special with it.

This works particularly well if they are illegal renters.

I live in a "nice" neighborhood. Plungers are illegal.
