Converting to gas- a few questions

We are converting to gas and I have a few questions.

1. Those of you who had an oil contract...how much was your early termination fee?

2. If you have oil in your tank is there a company that will remove it and give you $ for it?

3. Who did you use for the conversion? Were you happy?

We had our yearly cleaning and the guy basically scared the crap out of us...our hot water heater is very very old and he was telling us horror stories of them just busting and ruining finished basements. In addition we have an underground oil tank so we want to do this soon.

The only part of this I can answer is who we used to convert - we used Burner King (based on a recommendation from another LIFer) and were very happy with their work.

1 - I think it was $400
2 - They took they oil and disposed of it, it was really not worth the dealing with.
3 - we used burner king and were very happy with them. they actually did give us a credit because we had just had the tank filled (automatic) and were getting hit with the termination fee. $400 fill and $400 termination fee... they gave us a $400 credit on the conversion.

Didn't have one.

I didn't use a company, I just gave it away. The person came took it out.

3. Who did you use for the conversion? Were you happy?

Burner King, was not happy with them.
