Contractions??? Update
This morning I woke up and at 8 am had some pretty bad period like cramping in my lower, lower stomach... it lasted about 1 minute or so then stopped...
It just happened again about 5 mins ago....
No tightening of the stomach like Braxton Hicks though...... not sure if this could be the start of something?
Im 39 wks and last Mon I was 80% effaced and 1.5 dilated......
Think this could be the start of something?

is there any pattern? im 35 wks and have been 90% effaced and 3.5 cm dilated since week 32. dr told me to call if i have 4 or more in 1 hour or if i notice any pattern...

Sounds like it to me. My real contractions felt nothing like BH, just like super cramps. If you find yourself having to go to the bathroom a lot (almost like you have the flu or a stomach virus) -- you're probably in labor.

Update: False Alarm... they stopped... I had the doctor this am and Im status quo....grrr........ next week they have me scheduled for a biophysical b/c I will be at my due date... but, thanks for all the vibes!!!
