Contractions??
I've been up since 3:30 AM with what I think is contractions. I tried to time them but the pain is not going away it's constant so I am not able to time them. I'm 36w2d. My doctor opens at 9:00 and I'm going to see if maybe they can see me today. I feel kind of foolish. I'm hoping they can see me instead of sending me to L&D.
Has this happened to anyone else before?

Contractions??
I never had non-induced contractions (just BH) so Im no help.. just wanted to wish you luck. I do know if they were "real" you wld know for sure.. there is nothing like a contraction and they get worse...usually start at bottom of pelvis and tighten up to right under your boobs..Is there an emergency # you can call?

Re: Contractions??
Could it be gas? Contractions usually ease up every minute or so and since you said it hasn't I'm wondering if it's gas pains.
But yes it is quiet possible these are contractions. My contractions had me huntched over in pain unable to talk for the 30sec-1min that they lasted. But everyone is different.
Try this out and see how far apart they are: http://www.contractiontimer.com/
GL!
ETA: Be prepared because they will probably send you to L&D

I agree, same thing happened with me, They started out by coming every 10 minutes and lasted a minute or so. Go to the Dr. to be sure, they can hook you up to the monitor to check. Good Luck !!!

Contractions??
I think it's worth a call to your doctor; even if it turns into a false alarm. I have heard the contractions will come with a break in between but each person is different. Good Luck!

Re: Contractions??
I did have contractions.. @ 34w5d I have high tolerance to pain and didn't think anything of it. Turns out I was in labor. G/L and hope you got to see the doc.
