Congestion Vent!

I have been congested seriously since i am 10 weeks pregnant. I am now 25.

What do you ladies do to help this?

I have tried a humidifier, the fan, saline spray. NOTHING helps!

So frustrating!

Congestion Vent!

maybe try a netty pot? CVS sells them or Walmart/Target. Also, what about Vick's Vaporub or the small inhaler for the nose?

I am 37 weeks and 4 days. I have been congested since early in the first tri. Dr said it will go away once lo arrives. My dh complains I sound like I am going to choke in my sleep. I sleep on a bunch of pillows and take a hot shower in the morning.

Re: Congestion Vent!

I was congested my entire pregnancy. It's a normal side effect. I hate to tell you, but it only gets worse during the winter with the cold air and heat on in buildings. I got tons of bloody noses. But the good news is it went away as soon as DS was born.

Congestion Vent!

It will probably go away once you have the baby. I had a constant cough from a post nasal drip that went away within hours of giving birth!!!

Saline spray and believe it or not, Altoids! The spearmint ones clear me right up and help my nausea. Go figure!

Re: Congestion Vent!

I'm 12 weeks and have been congested since day 1. I literally have tried EVERYTHING:
- claritin (when my throat & ears started bothering me w/the post-nasal drip)
- netty pot
- humidfier (warm and cold)
- without AC
- with AC
- vicks at night

The worst is the post-nasal drip which comes back at me in hte morning w/loads of nausea and eventually yacking.
