congested cough
Have a very congested cough. Doctor office closed yesterday and today. Pharmacist said can't take anything but I should see my pcp to make sure it is not infected. Any thoughts, suggestions? Is the baby in any jeapordy?

No you should be totally fine. I got a bad cold a few weeks ago and its true you cant take anything unless md okay's it... I was told if cough was very bothersome to take robitussun. But i didnt have a bad cough just sore throat and bad congestion...
I would suggest use a netti pot for any nasal congestion (use filtered water); use saline spray; drink water with lemon and hot water with lemon and honey of you like honey; steam the bathroom before a shower; and rest!!! Call ur md tomorrow to be on the safe side...
Baby is ok has no idea your sick i asked my dr that first! Lol

I've had an awful cold all week. I emailed my doctor yesterday and he said I could use sudafed, afrin, and robitussin dm. Hope you feel better!
