confused...how do i figure out DPO?

confused...how do i figure out DPO?
i'm assuming im doing it right but you never know.
I used the digital OPK and FMU. Did i ovulate the day i got my smiley or the day after???

Supposedly you ovulate 12-36 hours after you get a + OPK. So must likely the day after you get it would be the day you ovulate. HTH!
