confused again OPK vs fertility monitor - different results?

So I posted last week that this is the first month using a fertility monitor and temping. CD11 and 12 were my peak days and CD 13 was high (no high days before the peak) and my temps slightly rose those days (but up .2-.4 degrees only - nothing huge). I thought it was early because in the last 5-6 mos of so using OPK's my smiley days were CD14-18. But ok - the CBEFM should know best.

I have been questioning it all along but I think after 9 cycles of TTC now - I question everything we are doing. So CD17, I noticed my mucous was more abundant and I started getting pains. I do get painful ovulation many months and it felt similar expect on the opposite side I normally feel my pains. Then CD 18 my temp was highest it has been since CD12 and I was like hmm....so I took an OPK test and got a smiley??? What would you think????

That's funny because I've been using the CBEFM for a while now and am starting to question its accuracy. Yesterday I picked up digital OPK's in CVS because I'm no longer convinced.

wow that is so strange! I have no clue! I almost bank my BFP on the fact that the CBEFM was right. I got smileys earlier on in the cycle then w/ the monitor and I wasn't getting pregnant. Once I followed the monitor I got pg!

I just think it's odd you are getting such conflicting results. But honestly if you are using CBEFM, temping and OPK's that would be enugh to drive me crazy! I wish I had advice, but all i can say is good luck!
