We got the travel system that comes with the infant seat and the stroller. Needless to say DD is 18 months and we've never even used the stroller...it too bulky.
We had the infant seat. 3 bases (one for my car, Dhs car, and my ILs who watch DD), the snap and go, and once she was bigger we bought a lightweight stroller.
We also put on our registry 2 convertible car seats for when she was bigger. We got one and bought the other ourselves.

We're right around the same time as you... we haven't registered yet and we find out the sex 1 day before you 
We're thinking of registering for 1 infant carseat and 2 bases, the Baby Jogger City Mini stroller, and 2 convertible carseats.

We're thinking of registering for 1 infant carseat and 2 bases, the Baby Jogger City Mini stroller, and 2 convertible carseats.
We have the same plan - register for 1 infant carseat, 2 bases, 2 convertible car seats.

we didn't register for the travel system because we wanted light weight and easy (I have no arm strength, lol). We registered for the Graco Snugride (comes with one base) and an extra base. Once the baby is 6 months I plan on using the City Mini Stroller (so easy to use). I regsitered for the Britax Marathon convertible carseat for when the baby is bigger/older.

I was so confused about all this and here's what we did:
We registered for the Peg Perego Switch and a Peg Infant seat. The stroller seat can be removed and the infant seat can be placed on the stroller frame (like a snap and go). We also picked one additional infant seat base for my parents. And, we registered for a Britax convertible car seat. I figured we'd just buy a second convertible car seat for my parents' car (they'll be watching the baby) when the time comes as there might be new things out.

1 infant car seat, 1 base (the car seat comes with one), 2 covertable car seat, one stroller for when the baby's out of the infant car seat and 1 snap and go for the infant car seat!
Sounds like a lot of crap!

I get to register in another 2 weeks YAAAY... and thats what I was thinking of getting too.. I will need 2 bases, but only once converatable seat...and I don't really like the bulky stroller, but I have to take a look at the ones they have... I was something light LOL
