Confused
My DH and I weren't going to start TTC until the summer, but we a few times around the time I Oed. I am totally clueless about it and automatically assumed that we conceived. I hope we do but I want to know NOW and I'm only 7 DPO. My husband is ready to kill me because I've been looking up my symptoms every minute that I am home. At work, I don't think about it at all because I'm so busy but it makes the time go faster. What should I do/think?
I pee frequently anyway because I drink a lot of water. I had pain down one leg today. I've been moody but it might be because I'm getting AF. I had a weird pulling pain behind my belly button today. I might have been imagining it but I tasted a metallic taste in my mouth.
Should I test? When should I test? How should I not drive my DH crazy?

Re: Confused
TTC can def. be an emotional roller coaster. Defintely DO NOT test. You are only 7DPO you will be setting yourself up for disappointment. Wait it out, at least to 11-12DPO if you can. Remember, ANYTHING can be symptom. I drive myself crazy every month overanaylzing everything and Ive yet to get a BFP but I swear each month that I have all these symptoms. Take it one step at a time..your time will come. This is only your first month, try not to feel disappointed if you are not pregnant. Remember, you only have a 20% chance of conceiving each month and this is with good timing and healthy people. Its a game of luck sometimes

Re: Confused
Thank you for the feedback! It's easier to listen to a female who's going through it than from my husband
His birthday is on Wednesday and that's 13 DPO so I'll wait until that morning!

Re: Confused
Well, my very first time of not trying, but not preventing I had all the same symptoms that you do at 7dpo. I actually started researching all the symptoms and in the checklist, I had all eight! I did wait to test until 12dpo and nothing but then 13dpo and there was a line
I ended up losing the pregnancy at 7 weeks but it was because my progesterone never rose. Having all those symptoms could be a GREAT sign. Hang in there

Re: Confused
TTC can def. be a very stressful process. However, I wouldnt think about symptoms at all. My first preg. (which was chemical) I had no symptoms. This time I had no symptoms again aside from AF like symptoms. IMO, for me at least, typical "pregnancy" sypmptoms did not start until after 6 weeks.
Also, I wouldnt test until about 12dpo. That way you should be able to see a clear line and dont have to guess.
