Confused - RE visit - -- *UPDATE #2 - HELP!!!!!**

Yesterday afternoon i got ewcm so i tested with the clearblue easy and it was positive. So i assume i am going to ovulate today or by tomorrow latest.

I go to RE this morning for sono - egg on 1 side is 19. Had bloodwork done and said that the test must have been wrong - levels are not showing ovulation yet

Ive used these test for a while and they seem very accurate to me (worked both times i got pg).

Does the bloodwork check the levels of the same hormone or something different? Do they just look for a higher hormone level than the test kits so predict more closely ie my blood levels tomorrow will be higher since i will probably o tomorrow but the test kits give you the 2 day notice

Any insight to this would be appreciated.....

** Update **

they had me come in again this morning and when they did the sono the egg was released . I havent gotten the bloodwork results back yet to see if there is a surge but they are stumped as to why my LH was only 7 yesterday.

Has anyone heard of this?

And it looks like the opk was right all along

the re office just called and said i still havent surged! The LH is still 7 and prog is 0.2 estrogen 165 So they dont think i ovulated yet everything else is suggesting i did. - the follicle that was there is gone - i had EWCM for a few days and is gone today??

Is it possible that i O'd and the bloodwork is just not showing it? They want me to come back on friday for more bloodwork and sono They think i havent O'd yet??

Side note - i usually O around day 12 so this would have been normal cycle

I can't say 100% how those tests work, but I can tell you that I got a false positive OPK once. It was during my IUI cycle and I called the RE's office in a panic b/c I wasn't sure what my next steps were. I went into the office for bloodwork and sono and they determined that I was not even close to O'ing yet. Trust the blood test and sono over the OPK.

Did the RE give you further instructions? I was told to come back a week later, they did another sono determined I had 2 follies of a good size and so I was told to get the trigger shot and sch my IUIs.

I just had a FET and I was monitored daily starting CD7. Looking back at my notes (I'm crazy and try to track everything)... I got my on CD 11 and had a 19mm follicle. I had blood and sono until ovulation, which was 2 days later (confirmed by blood and sono). I would assume based on your OPK and size of follicle you will be ovulating within the next 48 hrs.

This cycle I used an OPK and got a smiley and scheduled my IUI for the next day. They didn't test me or give me a sono so I am hoping it was accurate. My blood work from the previous two days was neg so I thought it was right. Now you have me nervous!

I would trust the blood work but it sounds like you should be Oing anytime now Good luck

Oh wow I am totally confused now!! If they don't think you O'd then why is the follicle not there anymore?? Do you have other follicles that might be catching up?? I am curious to know what they say on fri. Def keep us posted. Good luck!!!
