Concerned tooth question

Sydnie has what appears to be a tooth coming in almost as far back as her molars!!!! Chat Icon
It's like a little hard white bump. She has no teeth yet.

Could this be something other than a tooth??? Did your DC ever get a back tooth before the front teeth?

I think I need to call the dr about this. They are in on Sundays. Would you call?

She's also having symptoms- tired, congested, drooly. Chat Icon

UPDATE: We went to the dr. It's a cyst. They said no big deal just keep an eye on it. Thanks!

Re: Concerned tooth question

It could be a cyst. Landon got one, the ped said it was from the tooth putting pressure on the gums.

Re: Concerned tooth question

I have heard of cysts in the mouth looking similar to teeth coming through.

I wouldn't call the ped and make an emergency appointment or anything. But definitely would mention it and have them take a peek.

Re: Concerned tooth question

Annie, Peyton has had this a few times and the Dr looked at it and also said it was a cyst, they do go away. Peyton never seemed bothered by it. She has 2 right now.

Thank you so much. Of all the babies I have known I never heard of this! Dr didn't seem concerned either. I just hope it goes away on it's own.
