Communion Gift
My son goes to school with a little girl who is making her communion this weekend. We were informally invited to the party. We have known the family for 18 months. My son is 3 years younger then her but they go to speech together outside of school. I want to give her something... How much is an appropriate amount to give?

Communion Gift
I think $40 or $50 is appropriate.

Re: Communion Gift
Today the Mom tells me that we don't need to bring anything as we were last minute invites..... I am going to give her something, I just don't know what... I don't want her to be "mad" that I didn't listen and got her something, but I don't want to go empty handed..

Re: Communion Gift
I would still give her what I was planning to, I wouldn't want to go empty-handed. You could also do a keepsake item from a store like Things Remembered. They have Communion crosses by Precious Moments and items of that nature.
