Cold medicine and breastfeeding......
anyone know what I can do to help my cold - I'm breastfeeding and heard that some meds can dry up your milk........
any advice?!?!

I have had a TON of colds and BF. I would just use the "OTC" cough & decongestant liquid med. by Robitussin. Every 6 hrs I took it and didn't find any problems. I think it is the "sinus" meds that can cause drying up- like Suddafed and things like that.

Sudafed is fine you can have the same stuff as you did when you were preggo
