Co-ops
Me and FH want to start looking into buying one. Do we go to a Real Estate agent. I have no idea what to do.

we went to an agent, but wound up finding our's from an ad in newsday....
also craig's list is helpful
and mlsli has a lot of co-ops
you could check www.lifsbo.com also

We started by getting the friday newsday and going to the open houses on the weekends. WE actually found ours there.

check out newsday and hit open houses yourself...Look on MLSLI.com too. There are a lot of co ops on that site for sale
