CM
Hey ladies...
Can you help me out?
Every month I get my on CD13, and every month I get CM like crazy on CD17 (stretchy, stringy- sorry if TMI).
What gives, and does this mean anything? I dont really get noticeable CM any day before CD17, and my CM is light or not present when I should O.
I would say its O, but I def get my on CD13 so not sure what that means. Oh and my cycles are usually 28/ 29 days and predicatably consistent.
Thanks ladies!!!

Re: CM
the OPK detects your surge which means you will ovulate in the next day or two. EWCM which is the most fertile CM is present when you are going to ovulate. it is possible that you have EWCM days before you ovulate, but it is high up by the cervix and not noticable to you.
unless you temp, it may be hard for you to pinpoint your exact ovulation date. i would suggest you treat it like your most fertile time is from when you get your smiley to when the EWCM is gone. if you BD most during those days, i think your bases will be covered. depending on how thorough you want to be, you could start temping also. all of those combined would help you determine your ovulation date.

Re: CM
Thanks! I actually started temping this month, but I did not see the peak in my temp! My chart is all over the place. Im going to try to maintain the charting and hopefully I might see a pattern next month if this month is not our month.
We on CD 7, 10, 12, 14, 15. I got my on CD13, and today is CD 17 for me. Do you think thats enough to cover our bases? Im all BD'd out at this point lol.
Its just weird how much CM and the type I have on CD 17, and that its not visibly present any other day. I am so confused!
So you think I still O'd according to my smiley??? So say CD14? I know my temp didnt help to pin point it though... uggh

the key to charting is to always take your temp at the same time in the morning before you get up and use a basal thermometer. how was your temp today?
you probably ovulated CD14 or 15 and it's best for the sperm to be waiting for the egg because the egg only lasts about 12-24 hours after ovulation. so i think you are good! good luck!!!
i am not really sure about why you always get EWCM on CD17. keep up with the temping. it's one of those things that after a few months you start to see a definitely pattern.

My temp was actually a little higher today, not by much, but yesterday and today were my highest days by a little bit. Its only my first month temping though. I bought the basal therm and do it every morning as soon as I wake up.
Thank you! Yeah I was thinking I O'd around CD14 or 15 also, so I jut didnt want to mess up if somehow it was later. I also had cramping yesterday.
Great, thanks for the advice and luck!
to you all too!
