Clotting Disorders?
Does anyone have any experience with low numbers for Protein C Antigen and low C4 binding protein?
My ob just told me my numbers are on the low side and I need to see a hematologist before we try.
I had tests run after miscarrying and these were the results. My progesterone was perfect.
I was supposed to try this month

I don't know what my numbers are but I have clotting tendencies and need to be on a blod thinner when pregnant.
I think you can still TTC, you just may need to get on a blod thinner pretty quickly.

My OB said to wait until I see the hematologist which totally sucks! I was so excited to try. My fertile days should start on 3/4-3/6 give or take and my appointment is on 3/1. I'm hoping the appointment goes okay and we can still try. If all goes well with the appointment I won't miss my fertile time. If they want to do more testing than I'm screwed.
I'm a wreck. It feels like it's one thing after another. Everytime I start to feel okay with everything that has happened something else comes up that brings up all the old feelings and worry.
My husband and I were so excited to try and now we're both disappointed that we might have to wait and that something would be wrong with me

Re: Clotting Disorders?
I have a protein S deficiency. I have to take blood thinners while I am pregnant. If you have an appointment with the hematolgist on 3/1 and your fertile days aren't until after that, I don't think you will have to skip this cycle. The hematologist will have your blood test results from your dr. and will be able to tell you right away whether or not you should be on baby aspirin or lovenox.

I hope you are right. The thing I am dreading most is them saying they need to do more testing and we have to wait. I feel like I've done enough waiting and worrying. I am ready. I want to try again. I am praying you are right and they will have everything they need to make a diagnosis. I made sure to schedule the appointment as soon as I could. Luckily the receptionist was understanding.

I totally understand. I actually didn't find out I had the clotting issue until after I found out I was pregnant. I had a miscarriage, had the panel run (had to wait until my numbers went down), and by the time the results came back I was pregnant again. My hematologist had the results from the RE and I didn't need to do any further testing.
