Clotting Disorders
Does anyone have any experience with low numbers for Protein C Antigen and low C4 binding protein?
My ob just told me my numbers are on the low side and I need to see a hematologist before we try.
I had tests run after miscarrying and these were the results. My progesterone was perfect.

Re: Clotting Disorders
I don't have those specific clotting disorders, but I have three others. You might need to take a blood thinner. I think if you go the hematologist or a RE, they'll be able to tell you more. I take Lovenox and baby aspirin because of my clotting issues.
Good luck!

Thank you.
I've heard of some of the other types as well. My OB had me tested and she was unsure about my results. I guess my results are not common? That makes me nervous. I hope the hematologist will know if I need to do anything about it.

Re: Clotting Disorders
Definitely don't be too stressed out about it yet. Many of us have clotting disorders and they are typically easily treatable with blood thinners. I have one of the more serious clotting disorders and will be fine when on the blood thinners. Don't get me wrong, I don't love that I will have to take a shot my entire pregnancy, but if it allows me to have a healthy baby then it's not a big deal.

This is me too and I found out recently. Which ones do you have?
I have APA and ANA. Still a bit overwhelmed by all the info and nervous to use an injection my whole pregnancy but ya know.. if that's what it takes.....................
I'd stand on my head for 9 months if it meant a healthy baby!
