Closing date?
How far ahead do they tell you this? Do they call you like the day before and say you are closing tomorrow? just wondering what to expect...

Usually 2-4 days. I was told Thursday that we would close Monday.

I was told a week ahead of time for the place we are selling. Still waiting to hear about the place we are buying.

Come to think of it, it was about a week when we sold my Mom's house. For us as buyers, one week's time would just suck.

We were supposed to be ther 16th of June, but we had a feeling things were moving faster....we found out Monday that we would be closing tomorrow (Friday) ahhhhhh....
I have been busy lol But Im excited!!

I was actually told a date 60 days prior. I worked with wells fargo. we closed only 4 days different and that was because my attorney was an idiot otherwise it would have been the date they set.
But I think normally you know only a few days before

we knew for sure about 10 days ahead of time to give the sellers time to pack up and move
