Re: closet space
welcome to my world.
FH and i SHARE a 4foot closet.
we put in a closet organizer one side is all shelves and the other is 2 hang bars.
my clothes are on the top and his are on the bottom.
on the shelves i have all my jeans, handbags, his hats and sweatshirts.
we each have one dresser with pretty deep drawers and the thing that SAVED us is getting a bed with storage drawers.
i also keep one season of clothes in the attic and switch when necessary.
shoes on the other hand.... i have yet to figure out that nightmare.
ETA: i bought those space saver hangers. they black velvety ones from costco/BBB and they really do work!

Re: closet space
Def putting away seasonal items helps
Bins under bed (could store tshirts for example)
Get an armour? DH has his clothes in one and my stuff is in the closet
