clomid question
SO I have my drs appointment tomorrow at 330 for my sono and clomid prescription.
I know you normally start taking it on day 5.. but how long do you take it for and, more importantly, how long after that till you ovulate?
DH just called and said he needs to go on an overnight trip to St Louis from next thurs to friday. He will be back friday afternooon and I am trying to guesstimate if this will screw things up.

Its been awhile since I was on Clomid but Im pretty sure you start taking it on day 3, and take it for 5 days.

It depends. Each person reacts different. The Dr. will do sonos after your 5 days on it, then as the follies grow, they will ask you to come in every couple of days. When they reach a certain size, they will either administer a trigger shot, or have you do it yourself, which will prompt ovulation within 24-36 hrs. That's if you need the shot. They can tell by follie size approximately when you will ovulate.
