Is there a major difference? The advanced seems more confusing.
Last time I was TTC I just used the regular digital.

I have heard negative reviews of advanced because some people get "high" readings for a really long time - people's hormone levels vary - and think O is approaching and then a week later finally get a peak. Apparently it's frustrating (i've never used them). Just throwing it out there.

I used the Advanced Digital one. Kinda by accident, I didn't realize there was a different kind. It gives you a few blinking smileys first on "high" days and then solid when you ovulate. The first time I got 2 blinky smileys and then the solid. the second time I got 3 blinkys and then the solid. Both times the solid smileys coincided with my temps and the second cycle ovulation date was confirmed by my RE and we conceived. (just a disclaimer I was on Clomid, but it didn't really mess with the ovulation test results.)

I use the advanced. I *never* get the flashing smiley though. It always goes right from blank to solid. I like them, they are easy to use IMO.

I used the Advanced Digital and I didn't like these and I found them to be annoying to be honest. I would get a week of "blinking" smilies before I would get a solid. I would get high fertility days way before peak fertility (starting on cd 8).

I used the advanced- It is what my RE recommended and I got pregnant the second month using it- the test is more sensitive and detects the high fertility days giving you a greater window to conceive since the sperm can survive a couple of days inside the female.
