Clear Blue Easy OPK Question?

That is the type I've recently started using for the past 3 cycles. The first two cycles I got my happy face the day I felt O cramps, and then my period 14-15 days later.

So Monday I tested on CD 8. I think I must have inserted it wrong because I got the book sign, but was rushing to get to the gym and figured I wouldn't get a happy face that early anyway. Well that night O pains, as well as Tues too. Tues, Wed, and Thurs of this week I got the circle, still no happy face.

But my question is when you eject the part that you pee on there is a window with double lines. Today I barely saw a double line, only really one line, but Mon-Wed I did see the double lines with varying degrees of darkness (like the double line got lighter each day). Can you read those sticks kind of like the OPK that only go by lines, is it the same thing?

Additionally is O at CD 8 a problem? I am averaging 11.5 CD before I O, based on 2 years of tracking.

Darn, every month I mess something up!

Hmmm..I would assume you can read it the same way as the reg. line test. When you noticed the lines were they of same intensity or was the control line still darker? Remember, in order for it to be a positive the test line must be of equal or darker intensity in color. Perhaps you did O earlier but I think CD8 may be too earlier..but I suppose its possible.

I didn't really examine it on CD 8 but there were def two lines (was rushing to the gym for class!). Tues and Wed double lines with one being darker than the other, and today just barely. It's kind of a blurry blue line, so it's hard to tell.

I definitely had O pains Monday night and all day Tuesday. Unless I am pregnant from this cycle (which will be a slim chance) I bet my period comes Dec. 28th, maybe 29th.

Been tracking the O pains and am pretty good at predicting my period, been doing it for about 10 years! And always used the O pain to NOT get pregnant, too bad it's not working in reverse!

Re: Clear Blue Easy OPK Question?

so on Tues and Wed. you had double lines but you are saying on one day the line was darker than the other day or in one particular day the test line was darker than the control line? As long as the test line is equal or darker than the control then thats your positive..whatever day that may have happened.

I've noticed in the past before O one line being lighter and it gets darker till the happy face comes, and gradually goes back lighter again, but these lines are super hard to read.

I am pretty sure Monday they were about even darkness, but I just was distracted and didn't take notice on CD 8. I am like 99% positive I already O. Now I am concerned it was soooo early and why and is it bad? Like I know for the LP you should be 10 or above, is there a similar number system for this Folicular phase?

Like I said I average 11.5 but sometimes it's 10, 11, 12, 13. Never before on 8!

My periods have been 30, 26, 25, 25, and 26 days since I've been TTC.

you cant read the lines at all on the smilely face test. It even says so on the directions. Only go by the circle.

Re: Clear Blue Easy OPK Question?

I cannot believe it, I kept on testing and got my happy face today, CD13. I am sooo confused, but happy of course. Thank god I didn't stop BD-ing and have been testing daily.

I still stand by my body I definitely had O pains late Monday and all day Tuesday, but at least I am not fully out of the game for this month.

DH is getting a semen analysis next Friday and we cannot BD 3 days before. So should we stop Monday, or sneak in Tuesday too? WWYD?

I have no reason to believe he has a problem, but this is our 6th cycle and I don't feel like waiting a year to then find out maybe there is a problem.

Oh and the lines yesterday were only the one dark, today they are both even darkness. So while I don't think you should go by it, I still think it has something to do with it.

Ever since I started TTC weird things have been doing on. I know they say to relax, but I seriously cannot.
