Great post because I was thinking the same thing! I am still using the same products I just make sure I wear a face mask and use gloves and make sure the windows are open

When I was pregnant with  (she's 3 now) I did a lot of research and read a lot and changed all of my cleaning produts. I feel that it is not good for children (whether in utero or born and breathing the vapors).
A few good resources:
Healthy Child Healthy World This site has great info, a blog I subscribe to and a book that I've read a few times and had many friends borrow.
Safe Mama This site has great "cheat sheets" that I use for everything - lotions, sunscreens, detergent, choosing a toddler toothpaste, etc.
Enivornmental Working Group Amazing resource which includes a cosmetic data base that has tons of info on baby lotions, sunscreen, soap, shampoo, diaper creams, etc.
One last site One last site with some info on how harmful chemicals can cause allergies, birth defects, cancer, etc. Obviously it won't in every child but in my opinion, why take the chance when there are TONS of alternatives out there! We did a lot of research when we made the change and it's been easy since. We now know what to buy.

I've been using Method cleaning products because they don't smell bad. The chemical smells from my old cleaners were making me nauseous.

I don't plan on changing any of my products. The only thing I worry about is my shower products bc its a small space even with the window and door open. So since I've been prego, DH has done that for me. :)

I've been using the clorox green cleaner for years. To clean the tub, I use a paste of dish soap and baking soda and a sponge with a scrubby. Works better than any other product I've found.

some clorox green products and some 7th generation stuff. i use most of the stuff i used to, but steer clear of bleach and comet bc of the fumes
