Cleaning Faux Wooden Blinds
Of all the things to do, this is my least favorite. I have alot of blinds in my house, and I have tried so many things to clean them: pledge, oil based cleaner, swiffer, an old-fashioned duster, etc. It doesn't help that I am allergic to dust, and I sneeze the whole time.
What do you recommended for cleaning blinds that will pick up the dust and not spread it?
TIA

Re: Cleaning Faux Wooden Blinds
This may sound simple but a wet paper towel always does the trick for me with the faux wood blinds.

I tried that also, and it crumbles up...then again it's probably a bad paper towel brand I'll try it again! Thanks Linda1003!

agree with the wet paper towels. it traps the dust like nothing else and just sticks to the paper.

You may be wetting the paper towel too much causing it to crumble. KWIM.

I think so! Thanks for the advice. I'll pick up some good paper towels today and get to work.

I agree..you just need to dampen it..not soak it.

Re: Cleaning Faux Wooden Blinds
Try a damp sponge. That is what i use. First I swiffer dust them and then I wipe them down.
I wish someone would come up with something less time consuming. All of my windows have wood blinds and they are due for a cleaning! UGH !
