cleaning and pregnancy..
Is it safe to use the clorox wipes during the first Trimester? Sorry if this is silly..
Will the dr tell me this? or are there any books or websites I can look at to see what is safe and what's not?

I have used the same cleaning products I used throughout my pregnancy that I used before I was pregnant. Now I know I'm more laid back than most on here, but I never had any issues.

i am still scrubbing with my comet and wiping with my Windex...etc. i think you're fine! just don't consciously breath it in.... also, leave the room once you've used the product so you're not breathing in the fumes.

I have been using the same products. I just haven't been cleaning as much because I am always tired.

There are all natural products that you can use, like Seventh Generation and Method. I have occassionally used some of the heavier cleaners, but when all natural cleaners are sufficient, I will use those.

Same here. I just make sure the room I'm cleaning is well-ventilated.

I use Fantastik with Bleach and clean like normal. Im a HUGE bleach person.

I try not to clean (dh is being so good and helpful!) but if I do i wear rubber gloves and a face mask that I got at the hardware store. Just try not to breath in the fumes or let your skin come in direct contact with the products.

DH has really helped and taken over about all of the cleaning for me the past couple of months.
Not only was I paranoid about chemicals, but I've been utterly exhausted.

The only thing I don't do is the shower anymore. The fumes from that can get overwhelming. But as long as you ventilate well I think the wipes should be fine.
