Pregnancy and cleaning
Just wondering, has anyone else given up on trying to keep their house sparkling clean while pregnant. (arm raised) GUILTY!

Yea...I gave up on that when I got married! With 2 dogs and a husband.....immaculately clean does not exist in this house.
In the 1st trimester...I hardly cleaned, I had NO energy. I do clean every other week now or as needed, and DH will vacuum if asked

Funny you should mention it, we finally broke down and hired a cleaning service - they came in today for the first time to do the first "heavy" cleaning - 4 girls and it took 4+ hours!!  I guess I'm REALLY guilty then!

I'm the same way - I think I vacuum and windex EVERY day. I've been like that for the last 8.5 months!!! It's crazy!

I have had a cleaning service for the past year now.  But I did spot clean inbetween them. I gave that up! No energy!

I was the complete opposite. I did nothing but clean, especially near the end! In the last week of my pregnancy, I was down on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors. DH thought I had gone crazy.

I was the same way...9 months pregnant and on my hands and knees cleaning the floors.

I sometimes think of cleaning as my Exercise!! LOL
I try to keep the house as clean as I can, but working full-time, being pregnant, getting home tired and cooking has weighed me down big time.
I do a good cleaning once a week (clean the bathrooms, kitchen, mop, laundry) - but my big weakness right now is ironing - I think because it requires me to stand up for a long period of time....

I know i have OCD when it comes to cleaning.. I also vacuum every day, and I cannot stand to have like 3 things in dirty laundry, so i do laundry almost every day too. I think I am going to hire a cleaning girl also, its getting to be too exhausting!!!
