Clean Floors - Dirty Socks
Do your socks always get dirty on the bottom when you walk around your home?
Am I just disgusting? I try so hard to clean - we clean every weekend and throughout the week as needed.
On top of that the past 2 weekends DH and I have been "spring cleaning" - really getting to the dirty jobs like moving the furniture and wiping down walls, baseboards, windows, etc. but it is never perfect....
It's just 2 adults, one cat and we have all hard wood, only 2 small area rugs. We have a no shoes in the house policy.
 am I the only one?

ha no you are not a lone, I clean my floors all the time, steam clean etc and I don't get it either!

I think it's just dust. We get this too and we don't ever even wear shoes in the house. And we wipe our dogs feet each and every time they come in from outside. Must be dust.

We just moved into a house with all hardwoods and are having the same problem! We have a no shoes in the house policy also but I find that my socks get pretty dirty walking around here! This never happened at our old place where we had a good amount of carpet.

I blame the excess dust on all the down comforters in the bedroom in the winter and all of or couches that have down in the cushions It is a no win situation. I wanted down for the plush feel...but pay for it via weekly cleanup. It is a no win situation and I wash the hardwood floors on a weekly basis.
ETA-we have a no shoes policy too-esp with two kids under two
