city teachers-when does the pay check come?

if any one has a pay schedule, can you fm me. thanks. dh starts on monday, but his principal is MIA.

you can get the pay schedule on the doe website. I think teachers are Q bank.

But i think that it should come 9/12.

Is he new on the payroll? If he was only just hired, it may take a while. He should ask the borough UFT office. I know when I started, new hires were not getting paid till November, but I believe they've made improvements. If the payroll secretary at the school is available, s/he would be the real person to ask.

Normally we get paid on the 1st and 16th of the month. If he signs up for direct deposit he may get it a day earlier (I do).

He will not get his first pay check until possibly September 15 or the 30th. He should sign up for direct deposit but it will not happen right away it might be able to start in November or late October. He will get paper checks until then. When he goes in tell him to bring a voided check it is easier to sign up.
