hey ladies. my church has an annual feast in brooklyn starting this thursday july 5th and running everyday through july 16th.

there will be rides, games, lots of street fair food, and some other nightly attractions.

the biggest event is the lifting of the giglio which will occur on sunday july 8th. it gets very very crowded then so may not be appropriate for small kids, but really awesome to see if you don't mind crowds.


if you would like to see the much cuter version. they also have a children's giglio where the kids "lift" the miniature statue. they are so precious and take it so seriously! Chat Icon (i believe that will be on saturday)
