I did this last year. And everyone who received it told me they thought it was adorable.
Our dog is named "Tallulah". And the saying I put inside was:
Merry Christmas to all and Tallulah good night.
Yes, I am a nerd.

ETA: I learned not to ask for opinions. 1/2 the people will like it and 1/2 won't.

I do them every year. Although all of my friends and family think its lame and make fun of me, they still hang them up with the rest of their cards!

Lame- NO WAY!!!
for the past 3 years I have been sending christmas cards of the dogs and everyone loves them, this year it will be the baby in between the dogs. I do different props each year.

I think it all depends on the card!
It can be super-cute if done well, or super-lame if done poorly.
