Choosing ob/gyn & poss recommendations
I just started seeing a new ob/gyn this year, and really like her, but she's not affiliated w/ Winthrop hospital. Both my step sister and step-SIL have each had 4 babies at Winthrop, and my SIL will have her baby there as well. Everyone has had great experiences there, and I want to have my baby there as well (when it happens). Not only is my current ob/gyn not not affiliated w/ Winthrop, the hospitals she is affiliated with I do either do not like or do not know.
Question is, should I change my dr to one who is affiliated w/ Winthrop, and if so, does anyone have any recommendations? I do like my new dr, but i'm not attached to her as of yet, and figure the sooner I find a new dr the better to build a relationship with. TIA

Re: Choosing ob/gyn & poss recommendations
Hi It is a personal choice to change dr's or not. If you are set on delivering at Winthrop I can recommend a doctor. As personal experience I delivered in Winthrop and loved it. Here is my dr's name, address and phone #. I no longer use him due to the reason I moved to NC in January. But I highly recommend him...

This is who i decided to go with. I was going to use Dr. David in W.babylon but when i called they said i would have to deliver whereever he was if he was at another hosp. I want to deliver at Winthrop. ALL of my Inlaws use him. Both of my SIL's deliverd at winthrop and had GREAT experiences with him and with the hospital. I have my first visit with him on the 22nd. A little nervous b/c i have only been to 1 OBGYN and now that we are TTC i don't want to have to switch. I am glad to hear others recommending him as well.

TY ladies, that's the same building my PCP is in. I've never been to a male gyn, but if he's highly recommended, i have no problem doing so!

Re: Choosing ob/gyn & poss recommendations
believe it or not but I have seen both male and female obgyn's and I seem to love the male dr.'s better... for some reason I feel they are more gentle and care a bit more... When you get pg and if you use rosenberg you will have to see all the dr.s since you dont know who will be on call.... every dr in that practice is great.. i love them all
