chiropractor?

Has anyone tried using a chiropractor to help with TTC? A friend at work mentioned it today so I was just wondering if anyone else has heard anything.

I've heard of using acupuncture though!

Same here...I've never hear of seeing a chiropractor, but I know a few people that saw acupuncturists...

I started seeing a chiropractor about 8 months ago b/c of my arm going numb, it turned out I had a pinched nerve. (he fixed it) & then since then I go weekly for an adjustment. He knows we will be TTC this month & has adjusted me properly to "help", who knows if it really will!

I do plan on continue my care even through pregnancy (whenever that will happen)


This is from something I read:

Some of the nerves that run from the spine into the body affect your reproductive system. There are certain actions in the body that are controlled by the nervous system-such as the dropping of the eggs from the ovaries through the fallopian tube. If the nerves are out of alignment because the spine is out of alignment, the nerves cannot do their job-and infertility can result.

This is just one thing I had pulled, it can't hurt to locate one and ask him/her questions.

Some people are not believers in chiropractors, I for one am. He has helped me with my severe sinuses and my husband who suffers from Adrenial Fatigue.

*Update*

I went to the chiropractor today on my friend's referral. She adjusted me and checked out a few things.

She gave me two supplements - evening primrose oil and biopause-pm.

I'm going to see her weekly. We'll see what happens...I figured it can't hurt!

Do you have low back pains?

Because if you do in Chinese medicine it could be an issue to conceive. This is why accupunture has good results in TTC.

So that would make sense to see a chiropractor too if you have back pain.
