Children's Favor at Christening- with poll

We're having about 8 children 3-10 years old and 9 babies at my DD's christening next month.

We are having a candy buffet for the adults and kids as favors. I would like to do something in addition fore the kids and want to get your opinion on which is better..

entertainer for face painting , ballons etc for an hour?

get actiovities like cpoloring books, ceramic mugs that can be colored , etc for kids to play with while there

or

favor bag to take home?

I would do an entertainer as well as some "busy bags" with crayons, coloring books, little knick-knacks they can play or color. We did that for DD's 1st birthday and the kids loved it.

I think since you have the candy buffet, you can put out bags or maybe even those chinese take-out boxes for guests to fill up and take home. Since you have that, I'd go for the entertainer. What a neat surprise that would be!

For DS first birthday I ad two tables set up with craft projects, markers, crayons, coloring books, etc.. We had a. Clown for an hour and a half. We also had a dessert buffet and everyone got a hot cocoa cone favor.
